Health and well-being are essential aspects of a person’s life that encompass physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Our health and well-being programmes are aimed at improving the health and general well-being of people living in the Church Street ward.
We work with healthcare professionals, policy makers, community leaders and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive health programmes and initiatives.
Health Advocate and Health and Well-Being Team
Our Health Advocate provides support and promotes health and wellness among individuals and communities. She advocates for policies and programmes that support access to healthcare, safe environment, support for individuals dealing with health challenges by connecting them to resources, and helps them navigate the healthcare system.
Our health and well-being team provides:
Information on healthy lifestyle choices, disease prevention, health promotion strategies through workshops and information materials.
Engagement with local communities to understand their health needs, build partnerships with other organisations, and collaborate on health initiatives.
Empowers individuals to take control of their health by promoting self-care practices, healthy behaviour, and regular screenings,
